FROM BEDROOM TO HOBBY SHOP
The Hobby Shop started long before it joined the High Street.
From the bedroom of a 15-year-old with a passion for custom-printed minifigures, United Bricks was born. Over the years,
United Bricks branched out into high street retail, opening the
doors to the United Bricks Toy Shop.
Over time, it became clear that the Toy Shop was growing into
more than just LEGO and Minifigures. As the world of hobbies
and collecting evolved, it was clear that the Toy Shop needed
to evolve with it.
And so, the United Bricks Hobby Shop was born - growing
beyond its original roots to embrace the vast world of hobby products, gaming and collectibles.
MORE THAN JUST BRICKS
LEGO will always be an important part of our story, and we love seeking out rare,
retired and unique sets, but our interests have grown well beyond bricks. Today, the shop brings together a constantly changing mix of LEGO, Warhammer, Trading Card Games, tabletop gaming, board games, collectibles and more.
From well-known brands to something a little more unexpected, there's always something new to discover. For us, that's part of what makes a Hobby Shop
exciting - you never quite know what you'll find.

We're proud to be based in Castle Douglas, Scotland, and
to have become part of the local community. The Hobby Shop
gives us a place to share the hobbies we're passionate about with people from Dumfries & Galloway and beyond.
Whether you're a long-time collector, a keen gamer, a LEGO fan or simply curious, you're always welcome to come in, have a browse and see what's around.
Our Story Continues
Although the Hobby Shop has grown into something of its own, United Bricks is still part of its story. Alongside everything else in the shop, you'll find our own United Bricks Minifigures, including exclusive designs available through the Hobby Shop and our range of Scottish Minifigures.
From the early days of United Bricks, through the Toy Shop and to the Hobby Shop we have today, we're incredibly proud of the journey so far. If you're in Castle Douglas, come in, have a look around and see what you can discover.
